Maharashtra Public Service Commission is a government body responsible for recruiting civil service officers in the state of Maharashtra. Established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India, the constitutional body conducts exams and interviews for appointment to various posts. The recruitment of candidates is done on the basis of interview, screening test and examinations. The recruitment is conducted to the service of the state government and the related organisations. It further advises the state government on matters relating to recruitment, disciplinary matters, transfers and claims for reimbursement.
