MakerLabs

The communal working areas include: a wood shop, metal shop, CNC router table, laser cutters, sewing machines and an electronics area. Each tool and work area have a corresponding class to teach people how to safely use each tool. A strong maker community has been cultivated at MakerLabs, where we exchange knowledge, help each other and collaborate. MakerLabs has communal areas for working, hanging out and cooking, as well as a culture of open concept, yet private, studio spaces so makers can be inspired by what is going on around them. MakerLabs has made an impact on the community in a city that is growing denser by the minute, by nurturing an environment where makers can meet, learn and create.
