Maliwan is a fresh look at software development. What makes it fresh? Our key principle: it's not all about the money. Having a long run in industry we discovered that the principles applied to the modern software development process are, well, not that modern. We decided to change that - our key goal is to build healthy relations with our clients based on trust and mutual respect. The whole process of creating something beautiful relies on constant analysis, rethinking and creativity. The piece of software is not just a mixture of code strokes and images, spiced with a bit of math, it's a living thing: it's born, learns how to interact with people, it grows, develops, it's a part of soul of every person putting his work into it. The software development methodologies were meant to ease and fasten the process, make it transparent and efficient, but they failed, they're used in a wrong way, putting bureaucracy over simple things, lengthening the process. So we took step aside and made our own methodology: Rapid Development (and yes, we do write a book about it). Without caging our developers' free souls we guide them toward creating awesome software, without boxing our minds we're letting them to innovate and incorporate on all stages of creating a beautiful being which we call the Software.
