Manu Explorer is the company for the discerning traveller and dedicated wildlife enthusiast wanting to visit the Peruvian Tropical Rainforest. Manu Explorer is owned and run by Peruvian naturalist guides dedicated to protecting the forest environment and providing for the indigenous populations. Our intimate knowledge of both the people and their lands facilitates both a personalised experience and an ethically responsible one. All packages are fully inclusive, and led by excellent bi-lingual, university educated, guides. All our destinations take you to magnificent pristine rainforest, yet Manu stands out because there are no urban developments and boat access is limited to river canoe only. If you want to go by jet to the rainforest, then Puerto Maldonado and Iquitos are your only options. With Manu, access is by light plane or bus, but all your river travel is through pristine rainforest, teaming with wildlife. This relative isolation makes Manu the number one destination for the serious wildlife enthusiast.
