Marine Well Containment

Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) is an independent company founded in 2010 to address the need for a deepwater well containment response capability in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. MWCC is a not-for-profit operation, headquartered in Houston, Texas, consisting of 10 member companies. The organizations' members are some of the world's largest offshore deepwater operators and make up roughly 70 percent of drilling activity in the deepwater U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
