It entered the market in 1997. Our main work principles are to provide a continuously expanding assortment of goods, while offering Russian and imported products of the best quality, as well as to maintain consumer-oriented prices and great service. In 18 years we have built 11 stores, including large regional stores in Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Ekaterinburg and Samara. The sales floor area of the first store was 7,500 square meters, and today the company's total sales area exceeds 126,000 square meters. In 1997 Maxidom employed 400 staff, and today this number exceeds 3,000. Company sales volume in 2014 was more than RUB 17.1 bln, or USD 452.6 mln. According to various ratings (Expert North-West, Kommersant, Delovoy Peterburg et al), Maxidom is one of the largest companies in the Russian North-West. We should note that in all these years we have strongly maintained the leading positions on the DIY market and are among Russia's five biggest DIY chains (according to InfoLine news agency), successfully competing with large Western companies. Our main task today is to continue expanding projects in the regions and the capital. Currently we are completing the construction of a shopping center in Ekaterinburg and a site is being prepared in Ufa. In addition, we are aiming to open several stores in Moscow in the coming few years.
