mBrainTrain is developing a fully mobile, wearable device for recording and analyzing electrical brain activity. This ends the period where brain recordings are the sole privilege of a highly controlled laboratory environment. No need for bulky lab equipment anymore, brain recording at home becomes possible. Our SMARTING project develops a revolutionary system that allows users to control their own brain signals during an entertaining training program in order to improve general brain fitness. Electroencephalography (EEG) measures the differences of electrical potentials between electrodes placed on the scalp. EEG is still the preferred technique for a wide range of applications: diagnosis of various brain diseases, defining neural correlates of cognitive functions and the steering of human machine interfaces (HMI). With our mobile EEG system, all these applications will benefit from increased flexibility and user-friendliness. Our company policy is to have all of our products first tested and verified by the leading scientific community in this domain. We believe that transparency related to true performance is the key for any future application.
