Founded in 2008, the Murray-Darling Basin Authority is the government agency responsible for managing the Murray-Darling Basin in an integrated and sustainable manner. It was established under the federal Water Act of 2007. The Murray-Darling Basin Authority is headquartered in Canberra, Australia.
