By identifying the root of an issue, we are able to eliminate unnecessary prescription medication and are able to eradicate the problem in its entirety, address other unknown issues and prevent future illness complications. Many of our patients come in with multiple prescription medications and we are able to titrate off many medications with nutritional and lifestyle modification. Although many patients initially come in for weight loss, they are often surprised when the source of their weight struggle is due to another underlying issue. Our consultations start with a comprehensive interview and physical exam with Board Certified Internist and Clinical Nutrition Specialist, Nancy Rahnama, MD. During this visit the doctor performs a nutritional evaluation, interprets body composition analysis and together will develop a realistic plan to address the patients' main concerns.
