MDR Construction

MDR Construction is a diversified utility construction company based in Columbia, MS specializing in overhead distribution work for local coops and national utility companies. With small beginnings in 1984 the company has become well-know for its dependability and quality of work through out the southeast. Since 1984, MDR Construction has been constructing, repairing, and upgrading electric utility lines in the southern United States. Based in Columbia, MS, we currently have eleven crews working in Mississippi. In the past we have worked in many other states including: Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Texas, South Carolina, Nebraska, Louisiana, North Carolina, Missouri, Maryland, and Virginia. Although we have taken on projects in the transmission and underground sector, we mostly specialize in overhead distribution. Our past and current customer list includes companies such as Entergy Services, Allegheny Power, Georgia Pacific, Florida Power and Light, American Electric Power (AEP), and also many large and small electric cooperatives.
