MECWIDE was created on 20 July 2008, coinciding with the beginning of the greatest economic crisis we have ever experienced. Nonetheless, the determination, strength and ambition to create and add value not only by the competence of our services and staff, has compelled us to believe in and implement the MECWIDE project. On the 28th February 2009, we opened our main office in Gilmonde and so began our first full year of operations. Our main goal was to respond to the market's needs by developing an area of strategic importance in the field of industrial maintenance and services, filling in a glaring lack of specialized companies in this business branch. MECWIDE is an independent company and has initially started operating in the oil and petrochemical industries. In 2009, MECWIDE celebrates its first year of operations with positive results in terms of its operations, foreseeing accelerate growth of its activity, also in countries such as The Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Angola.
