Mer-Tec was founded in 1994 by James McIntosh CE0, as a response to the Retail Industry's need for a standard software solution in financial processing. Today, Mer-Tec remains committed to the development of software products for retailers. Mer-Tec's mission is to provide the highest quality products, services, and support available for the Retail Industry. McIntosh's twenty years of experience in Data Processing, Software Product Development and Management disciplines provide a knowledge base of financial transaction and fault-tolerant processing. McIntosh initially developed all of our software products that are in production and currently marketed to U.S. retail chains.
