Mercure York Fairfield Manor Hotel makes every attempt to identify menu items which may contain ingredients that could cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. We consistently train our staff on the severity of food allergies, however there is always a risk of contamination. We prepare foods that contain the fourteen allergens outlined in the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation in our kitchens and it is possible that traces may be present. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time without notice. Customers concerned with allergies should be aware of this risk.
