Meta Centre

Meta Centre currently operates five day program locations in the Greater Toronto Area. Our Day Services offer schedules that focus on empowering and enhancing the quality of life of the participants. In-class instructions are provided on subjects chosen by participants. Curriculums are designed by qualified staff to reflect the appropriate skill level and interest of those involved. Integration activities assist individuals to become aware of and use community resources such as grocery stores, libraries, personal shopping, and volunteer outlets such as Meals-on-Wheels or food banks. Recreation and leisure activities include visits to historical sites, theatres, festivals, exhibits and museums just to name a few. Our fitness activities include basketball, bocce, baseball, floor hockey and volleyball tournaments. We also provide holistic health therapies such as: chair massage; aromatherapy; Yoga; physiotherapy; reflexology; Reiki; sensory and Snoezelen therapies.
