Metal-X Engineering

METAL-X is the first Company in the Caribbean to manufacture and sell wheelbarrows, its pioneering spirit continued with the design and manufacture of a flatbed barrow used for transporting blocks and other flat objects. In 1990, METAL-X further expanded its operations having come to understand the metal needs of the construction industry after the coup. The manufacture and supply of steel structures became at that time, an integral part of the Company's operations. In the years following, the Company embraced the role of subcontractor on major construction projects throughout the Region. Completed projects include: The Ato Boldon Stadium, Excellent Stores, Sterling Services, Concacaf Centre of Excellence and the Bordelais Correctional Facility in St. Lucia. In the future METAL-X looks forward to continued growth by securing a firm footing as the Region's primary source for metal items and its premier contractor for structural Steel.
