First formed in 1956, Methodist Homes was created with the mission of serving God's 'older children'. Since 1961, Methodist Homes' network of communities has grown to include 13 communities from Northern Alabama to Northwest Florida. In February of 2010 the Board of Trustees of Methodist Homes adopted a Strategic Plan which includes a Vision Statement, a restated Mission Statement, and a list of Core Values.
