Mountain Home Public Schools
Located in one of the premier destinations in the Ozarks, our school district serves nearly 4,000 students and employs nearly 500 licensed faculty and support staff members. The district is backed by a community that is always there to offer support, encouragement, and time to our students. We have a host of community members who spend time in our schools -- offering advice and learning opportunities to students of all ages. Community members and businesses also open their doors to our students for internships and to our teachers for externships. We work collaboratively with area industries and Arkansas State University Mountain Home to grow our own students into the area's skilled workforce of tomorrow. At Mountain Home Public Schools, we feel that parent and family engagement are essential components of a child's educational journey. We encourage parent involvement through our PTO, volunteer opportunities, our parent center, and various parent events throughout the school year. We want parents and families to be an active part of their children's learning, and so we do our very best to communicate with our stakeholders on a consistent basis. We share pertinent information on this website and on our district Facebook and Twitter accounts -- @BombersMH. Our commitment to every student is evident when you see all the educational choices we offer our students. From extracurricular programs to flexible learning opportunities, our district believes in a personalized learning path for each student. If you are interested in finding out more about any of our pathways for learning, please call us at 870.425.1201 to set up a meeting. If you are interested in your child attending MHPS through School Choice, please remember that the annual School Choice deadline is May 1. Click here for a link to the School Choice form.
