Middletown Township is a second-class township governed by five elected Supervisors under a council-manager form of government. The Township operates with a $35 million annual budget and serves over 45,000 residents. It is the third-largest municipality in Bucks County and the eighth-largest municipality in suburban Philadelphia. The Township is home to several schools in Neshaminy School District, the county’s largest mall (Oxford Valley Mall), the county’s largest hospital (St. Mary’s Medical Center) and Sesame Place Theme Park.
