Established in 2013. Midtown Oyster Bar is Newport's choice when it comes to the freshest seafood and the largest raw bar in town. With our architectural homage to historic Newport and the nautical lifestyle surrounding the city, Midtown has become a must stop destination for locals and visitors alike. Located on the site of the former Salas Restaurant, The Midtown Oyster Bar is a completely new building built from salvaged materials from a warehouse in Woonsocket RI and Brooklyn NY. With exposed beams and recycled wood floors, The Midtown offers a classic Newport wharf dining experience.
