MacDonald International is a consulting engineering company that was formed in 1985 to provide specialist engineering services to a wide range of clients such as Government authorities, developers and construction companies. The Company had its genesis in construction consulting, and in particular, the estimating for large and complex road projects. The evolution since then has seen the development of engineering services covering a comprehensive range of highly specialised activities. This has meant the recruitment and training of a dedicated team of specialist engineers, and the development of sophisticated processes, including the well-known Benchmark Estimating Software, which is used extensively throughout Australia and selected international markets. On the other end of the scale we are also involved in larger projects of up to AUD$7 billion in value, with particular emphasis on roads, bridges, tunnels, rail systems and dams.
