23 years ago, Mike Thrasher wanted to take his passion for live music to a new level. Having booked acts in a local bar, he expanded and put on a variety of shows at a host of different Portland locations. From that small seed, Mike Thrasher Presents was born. Upon its inception, the company produced primarily underground music shows at a few key venues and pubs in the area. Mike Thrasher Presents has since grown exponentially and now books over 500+ shows a year across the Pacific Northwest - and beyond! The company has also expanded well beyond the indie, metal, and punk beginnings - promoting shows of all music genres, including Warped Tour, Flogging Molly, Slayer, and G-Eazy - as well as burlesque acts such as the Suicide Girls and Dita Von Teese, comedy acts such as Duncan Trussell and the Trailer Park Boys, and even art shows such as Pancakes and Booze, and so much more. Mike Thrasher Presents is comprised of a diverse and passionate team of musicians, writers, number-crunchers, coffee and tea drinkers, and above all else - music lovers.
