Millington Lockwood

Founded in 1884, Millington Lockwood is one of Buffalo's oldest companies. Millington Lockwood is a distributor of commercial office furniture and architectural products for the business, education, healthcare, and government markets. We provide a menu of facility support services that include interior design, space planning, project management, delivery and installation, pre-owned furniture, and much more. Millington Lockwood, founder and namesake of the company, has a rich family history that dates back to colonial England. The family settled in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to the Buffalo area in the early 1800s. Millington Lockwood, Inc. was one of the first major tenants of Buffalo's Ellicott Square Building in 1900. After leading the company for nearly 50 years, the founder died in 1932. His son, Richard, ran the company until the mid-1950s. Millington Lockwood, Inc. changed hands three times until 1971, when it was acquired by Kevin McNamara. Kevin led the company for over thirty years until July of 2002, when current owner Michael Bonitatibus acquired the company. Millington Lockwood employs more than 60 very dedicated and talented individuals. The company's highly effective commercial office furniture sales team works with an experienced design group, front office team, and installation crew. Our team ensures each project meets the company's high standard of excellence for all customers, no matter the size or scale. We are blessed to have an entire company comprised of people who truly care about the company's customers. Millington Lockwood recently consolidated its three locations into one 35,000 square foot facility at 3901 Genesee Street in Buffalo, across from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The facility includes a new 10,000 square foot Idea Center, along with warehousing and the refinishing operations of the Pre-Owned Division - all under one roof.
