Mineola is a thriving community located in Wood County at the intersections of three major highways (US Highway 37, US Highway 69, and US Highway 80) in Northeast Texas. The Mineola community is the best of all worlds. We have a large number of highly qualified retired people who are active in service organizations, community organizations and our school district. We have a large group of patrons and parents who hold high expectations for the quality of education provided by the school districts for our students. And, we have the very best students you can find in Texas. In Mineola ISD we honor our past, celebrate the present and plan for the future.
