Miss Freddy
Actually my name is Casey. You see, I was born with a mop of dark hair and my parents said I looked like Fred Flintstone. The nickname stuck (thankfully the resemblance did not). A girl named Freddy. I spent my teens scared someone would find out. These days, I embrace it. You can call me Casey OR Miss Freddy. Actually my name is Casey. My husband, John, and I live in Colorado with our two kids, Colin &a; Jillian, and our miniature golden doodle (that&s;s a dog) Colby Jack. I&s;m originally from Wisconsin (that explains why my dog is named after cheese, right?), John is from Florida, and we met right after college while living in Minneapolis. We were actually co-workers who dated in secret for a full year. Since we got married, we&s;ve lived in Minnesota, Indiana, and Washington. We moved to Golden, Colorado in 2016 with intentions of making this our final stop: HOME. Then, while my children enjoy an afternoon nap (nevermind that they quit napping 5 years ago...), I would create our annual family yearbook because the collection I started in 2011 has become one of my favorite things in our home. I&s;d cap off the evening with a pint of Magners Cider (my love of cider began when I studied abroad in Ireland) and a good book on my Kindle.
