Missoula Electric Cooperative
Missoula Electric Cooperative is a member-owned, not-for-profit, electric distribution cooperative serving five Montana counties and one Idaho county. Memberhip is open to person or organizetion within our defined service boundaries. If you are new to the area, the best way to determine where to sign up for power is to look at your electric meter. Our service territory often overlaps with other utilities. If your meter says "Missoula Electric Cooperative" on the faceplate, you must contact us to set up power in your name. You may download and fill out membership forms directly from our website and bring them into the office at 1700 West Broadway in Missoula along with at least one form of governement issued identification (driver's license, state id card or passport). If you are unable to come into our office, you may fax or email your membership application along with a notarized copy of your identification card. Our fax number is 406-541-6318. To email your application, contact a member of our Member Service staff for instructions.
