Miss Selmas Schools
Miss Selma's Schools was founded by Selma Ratley in 1956. It is one of the first private school in Little Rock, Arkansas. Robin Ratley Smith, Miss Selma's daughter, and her husband Michael Smith now own the school. Robin became the director of the school in 1989. Miss Robin taught for 13 years before moving into the directorship. The philosophy of Miss Selma's is simply, every child can succeed! We believe that high-quality, early childhood education, fostered by loving enthusiastic attitudes will promote physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. Miss Selma's School provides a comprehensive educational program and each teacher's goal is to make learning an exciting, rewarding experience.
