Founded in 1953, MIZRATEX is the fourth company to have been established in the Colon Free Zone in the Republic of Panama. Today, we are one of the largest wholesale export firms in the region. The Colon Free Zone has become the premier duty free zone in the Americas and the second largest in the world in terms of export volume. Furthermore, the Colon Free Zone's location near the Atlantic entrance of the Panamá Canal and to three of Latin America's main ports allows for unmatched speed and efficiency for our import and export operations. In December of 2009, we inaugurated our new 115,200 square foot showroom which is undoubtedly one of the most modern exhibition installations in the hemisphere, offering over 100,000 SKU'S for immediate delivery. Our high-tech and efficient distribution center measures more than 990,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest breakthroughs in logistics. It is a key competitive advantage which will allow us to continue expanding our sales and distribution capacity throught the region.
