Founded in 1999, Mobile Streams started out as a research and consulting company famous for its "Yes 2 SMS" report that accurately predicted the success of SMS text messaging. Soon after, the company launched its first consumer mobile internet services with Ringtones.com. In 2006, the company completed an IPO in London and Liberty Media became a strategic investor and partner for the company. In 2011, Mobile Streams created its PublicAd mobile advertising and marketing subsidiary to focus on advertising, particularly in Latin America and for apps. Mobile Streams operate globally through subsidiaries in North America, Latin America, Europe. and Asia Pacific.
