Modern International, Inc. (MII) was established in 1983, when Guam's economy was about to take the very first step to the construction industry. Since then we vowed in pioneering the four fields of construction, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil. We had engaged in both General and Specialty construction and services for the US Department of Navy, Department of Air Force, Department of State and U.S. Cost Guard. MII is a small disadvantage Business and Hub Zone certified. In 1994, Modern International, Inc.was awarded an administrator's Award of Excellence by the U.S. Small Business Administration. MII was the first contractor of Guam who was certified under SBA 8 (a) program. We as a tiny contractor learned a lot under this program, we grasp all the benefits this program offered but then we have graduated after nine (9) long years. Graduated then this May 18, 2007.Modern International, Inc. is bonded up to $10 Million per Single Contract and $30 Million Aggregate Contracts. Being the president & General Manager of Modern International, Inc. my outmost concern is the full satisfaction of our customers not to mention the timely completion of the contract in an ultimate safety manner. As a result, myself under Modern International, Inc. was awarded as the U.S. Small Business Administration Entrepreneur of the Year 2003. Modern International, Inc. now has full compliment of experienced engineers and managers, certified QC Managers, Safety Officers, Equipment Operators, and other skilled personnel with special training of the different aspects of construction. We also performed lead asbestos removal and disposal. On Top of what we already been said, for design and build projects, Modern International, Inc. shall have as job partners having good business relationship with them in the past, the best architects and professional engineers and consultants of Guam. On the basis of our background, we are confident that all our prospectives projects would be performed in an extremely safe and accurate manner.
