Monroe Township

michael leibowitz served as a councilman in ward 3 from 1980 to 1984. the voters in ward 3 elected him in 2009 to serve another four-year term on the governing body. councilman leibowitz and his wife judy reside at 21 south rhoda street. he has two adult children. councilman leibowitz is a graduate of the united states military academy at west point, new york, where he earned a bachelors degree in engineering & math. he has a masters degree in business administration from drury college in springfield, mo and a clu from the american college in bryn mawr, pa. he previously served as new jersey transit regional manager of government and community relations. he is a vietnam war veteran and currently serves as a trustee of the etz chaim monroe township jewish center.
