Moore Productions is an experienced, independent, film & video production company with offices in Washington, DC, just west of Georgetown and in Cabin John, Maryland, just east of Great Falls. Since 1989, we have produced many award-winning documentaries, corporate videos, news features, and other public information programs for such clients as National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Intelsat, US Postal Service, PBS, Sallie Mae Fund, Travel Industry Association of America, The World Bank, Ogilvy, US Census Bureau, and NewTrends Publishing. Recently completed projects include the Scholarships Video for Sallie Mae Fund, the latest Corporate Video for Intelsat, the 3rd edition of the Nourishing Traditional Diets Seminar by Sally Fallon for NewTrends Publishing, and online training materials for NEC. Current and upcoming works include the Oiling of America lecture on DVD and A Campaign for Real Milk seminar on DVD, both for NewTrends Publishing, ongoing pieces for Intelsat, and web enhancements for executive search firm Mee Derby. Principal Derick Moore holds a MA in Journalism & Public Affairs from American University, Washington, DC, and a BFA in Communication Arts & Design from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA. Awards include three CINE Golden Eagles, numerous Telly Awards, several awards from the Art Directors Clubs of New York and Washington, DC, and many awards from other competitions.
