Morgan Cargo offers logistic solutions to a wide variety of internationally based clients. The organisation has been branded an efficient wholesaler of cargo space, offering products and services to agents and exporters alike. Established in 1993, we currently employ 155 staff in South Africa. In 2000 we changed the Core Airfreight focus to include Ocean Freight service delivery. Starting off as a specialist perishable cargo agent, Morgan Cargo has diversified its service offering and operational base to include numerous other commodities in a variety of industries. The dynamic growth of the organisation enabled it to attract clients who recognized the strategic importance and advantages of partnering with a player of this magnitude. Since the founding of Morgan Cargo in the early 90's, the business has been steadily expanding and while services are performed in more than 16 countries internationally, the focus has remained solely on the exporter or importer's individual needs. The personal contact and attention is therefore 100% set on quality rather than quantity. We do not try to attract as many customers as possible - we are driven to optimize effectiveness and efficiency and can provide logistics solutions in the following areas: Morgan Cargo handles all aspects of road, sea and air logistics. We guarantee total peace of mind with each shipment as personal attention is given - from making the booking, to delivery at the final destination. We focus on niche markets and offer total logistic solutions for perishable and general cargo. With the ever-increasing cost of getting produce from the grower to the supermarket, it is our aim to help our customers in obtaining the best freight rates available. We have achieved this by opening satellite offices at some key export stations such as Kenya, Spain and United Kingdom. By doing this we have total control over each shipment. Middlemen are eliminated from the logistics chain, bringing the overall costs down. Upon arrival in London, our facility near Heathrow Airport takes care of customs clearance, handling and distribution.
