About Mother Road Brewing Company: Driving a dark stretch of two lane road, founders Michael and Alissa Marquess were pondering how to better live their creed of 'finding joy in the adventure' when they came up with the plan to start a brewery. Founded in 2011 Mother Road brings together their passions of craft beer, road trips to out-of-the-way places and the enjoyment of life. Mother Road Brewing is located in Flagstaff, Arizona, along an original alignment of Route 66 in a 1920's era laundry building. The small, dedicated staff hand-crafts beers on their 15 barrel system including gold-medal winning Roadside American Pale Ale and Lost Highway Black IPA. They treasure the intersection of conversation, community and friendship that's fostered by sharing a pint and continue to give back to the community through quirky events like the Pints and Pooches Dog Show and the annual Bike Olympics, benefiting local charities.
