We were tired of constantly slamming on our shins and losing contact with our bike. We wanted to ride more. So we developed the Motopedal to eliminate the weaknesses of conventional pedals. Our goal: an ergonomic flat pedal with compact dimensions, low weight and maximum safety. The head behind MOTO is Alireza Barjesteh, he has lived in Kreuzberg for 20 years and has been driving Bmx, more precisely Flatland, for as long as he can remember. The former European champion embodies urban bicycle culture at a time when this term did not yet exist and still does today. In the centre of Kreuzberg the idea was born. To develop a lightweight functional pedal that meets the needs of an urbanista. Large contact surfaces, non-slip even in rain and aesthetically minimalist. This idea is now already 10 years old. In the meantime we have not only developed several MOTO´s, but also always further, in order to create the best MOTO for everyone and we are not yet at the end. The many awards that our pedals have brought home and the great confirmations from MOTO fans all over the world motivate us every day. But our biggest motivation remains our love for the bike and our city, to which we have always remained faithful, because our MOTO´s are almost exclusively produced in Berlin. You can't quite imagine what a difference MOTO´s make? We understand that, because this riding feeling is really new and creates a whole new connection between you and your bike besides all the technical details.
