Marijuana Policy Project
The Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) is the largest marijuana policy reform organization in the United States. MPP works to minimize the harm associated with marijuana -- both the consumption of marijuana and the laws that are intended to prohibit its use -- and believes that the greatest harm associated with marijuana is imprisonment. MPP focuses on removing criminal penalties for marijuana use, with a particular emphasis on making marijuana medically available to seriously ill people who have the approval of their doctors. Founded in 1995, MPP has 20,000 members, 100,000 e-mail subscribers, and an annual budget of $3 million, plus a separate $2 million grants program. All current MPP job openings are listed below. Unless otherwise indicated, all positions are located in Washington, D.C. If you would like to be e-mailed about future MPP job openings, please send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject "subscribe" (no quotes). You will receive a confirmation e-mail and must follow its instructions to finalize your subscription to MPP's job postings.
