MQA has grown rapidly over the years as a result of its quality service which has translated into several quality clients. MQA has a staff complement of 12 made up of four professionally qualified accountants, two of whom are also Partners of the firm, senior and junior accountants with degrees in accounting and other middle level professional certification. MQA's partner firm is Kobla Quashie and Associates (KQA), the leading independent firm of accountants in Swaziland. KQA's clients cover the whole business spectrum in Swaziland including trading, manufacturing, farming, financial services, government, education and training. In addition MQA has an associate relationship with Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo (SNG), a leading independent firm in South Africa with offices in all major cities in South Africa. SNG is engaged in the audit of businesses in diverse sectors including the financial services sector in South Africa. It also undertakes audits for the South African Reserve Bank. In Lesotho it has participated in joint audits with MQA on the Lesotho National Insurance Group. The rationale for these alliances is to assist the firm to build internal capacity as well as expose its staff to international auditing trends and practices. MQA has adopted a formal employment equity policy that acknowledges the importance of a competent and motivated team in executing its mandate and ensuring its continued growth and success in the global economy. We view Basotho empowerment as a pivotal element of our broader strategy aimed at training development and competency. This is achieved by ensuring that positions in management, professional and technical areas particularly reflect initiatives aimed at Mosotho Economic Empowerment.
