The Montessori School of Raleigh

MSR is a co-educational school with students from 18 months old through 12th grade, on 48 acres and two campuses. The middle and upper school campus was established 20 years ago and a new upper school building is set to open in August of 2019. MSR was founded in 1974 and remains true to its mission to develop independent learners, critical thinkers, collaborative leaders, and courageous explorers through the internationally recognized Montessori philosophy. Essential qualifications: creative, energetic, warm personality, and good organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with administrators, parents, students, and co-workers. An understanding of and belief in Montessori methodology and philosophy is essential. MSR is accredited by AMS, AdvancED, and the International Baccalaureate Organization.
