Montana Arts Council

In Montana they can turn to Montana Arts, the only organization in the United States that serves a diverse number of artistic disciplines within a rural setting. Montana Arts (MTA) formed in 1965 to receive funds from the National Endowment for the Arts, to create the state agency Montana Arts Council. Since 1978 Montana Arts also provided a wide range of clerical support services for individuals and groups involved in the arts. MTA's small but highly qualified staff provides skilled assistance in day-to-day matters, working quietly behind the scenes, so that client organizations are free to deliver the arts to their communities.
