Mulgrave School

Mulgrave is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational school which is committed to providing an outstanding holistic education for young people from Pre-K through Grade 12. Outdoor Education (OE) is a well established and important part of Mulgrave's holistic education programme. The Director of Outdoor Education is expected to further develop and execute a vision for an extensive and world class PreK-12 Outdoor Education programme which excites and engages students in outdoor pursuits while actively contributing to their social and emotional development and furthering their understanding of sustainability and indigenous values. Working with a team of Outdoor Education teachers, the Director will coordinate and lead a range of developmentally appropriate learning experiences, oversee a range of co-curricular activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh programme, and lead appropriate training for staff and students. The successful applicant will be a knowledgeable, experienced and enthusiastic outdoor educator with a range of training and/or certifications in recognized outdoor pursuits.
