Nation Publications

Nation Publications Limited (NPL) was established by the veteran politician the late Dr Aleke Kadonaphani Banda in 1993 after the June national referendum in Malawi. The first publication of NPL, The Nation, hit the streets on July 26. It started as an eight-page bi-weekly and became the 23rd paper after a flurry of newspapers in the transition from one party rule to multiparty democracy.
