PurpleSlate is a startup created by entrepreneurs who are passionate about simplifying the way people make plans to meet with their friends and family. They were tired of boring email invites, frustrating group texting and blasting events out to the entire social network. Hence they created technology that easily lets event hosts send out personalized invitations by text and get more RSVPs easily via text reply, as their guests do not need to download the app to view the invite or to respond.
