Laura Strong

Laura is an artist, writer, and visual designer whose work weaves together an in-depth knowledge of archetypal and mythological material with over two decades professional design experience to produce a wide range of creative media. Her work is influenced by her passions for the ancient, the colorful, and those cultures where storytelling and expressive imagery are woven into fabric of daily life. A born explorer, Laura also draws from the great wealth of imagery that can be found in dreamwork, shamanism, and a deep connection to nature. Laura is a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and she holds an MA & PhD in Mythological Studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, CA. For over a decause, she has studied with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, as she continues to expand her skills through workshops related to art, energy healing, ritual, ceremony, and rites of passage.
