MyTrucking

MyTrucking was established in early 2014 by Sam Orsborn and his wife Sara. MyTrucking is a simple and practical Transport Management system that was co-designed by Sam and a friend who owned a Livestock Trucking company. Today Sam is fully involved in the family business, Sharpes Stockfeed (www.stockfeed.co.nz) with his parents and wife Sara, and Sam is also a Farm consultant (Sheep & Beef) with Baker & Associates in the Wairarapa. But also a few years ago Sam created a basic system for a local livestock transport company that helped manage and run their transport business. Word spread and the programme became very popular, so in order to keep up with todays world of being in the "cloud", Sam worked with a local programmer and a trucking company to specifically design and build this online programme MyTrucking. Now of which MyTrucking has grown to be able to assist all kinds of transport businesses. Sam's wife, Sara Orsborn (nee Coop) is from a farming family in Hawkes Bay and has a strong background in Sales & Marketing. Sara once worked for Richmond meat company, and then later Bernard Matthews (now Ovation NZ), and then went on to setup her own business specialising in Marketing consultancy and Event Management. Sara is also involved in the Orsborn family business Sharpes Stockfeed where she is the Marketing Manager. Sara has taken on the role of Marketing Manager for MyTrucking. Sam and Sara live on a farm in rural Carterton in the Wairarapa and have 3 young children, William (6), Lucy (5), and Olivia (3). Together Sam and Sara make a wonderful personable and professional team.
