Nolan & Cunnings
Established in 1920 by William Nolan and Oliver T. Cunnings, Nolan & Cunnings (N&C) is a pioneer in the freight audit and payment industry. Originally, N&C primarily operated as a local Detroit-based clearinghouse for perishable goods claims. Then in 1953, we introduced the "Freight Bill Payment Plan. This was one of the first pre-audit and payment plans available in the United States. Nolan & Cunnings now provides a variety of logistics and supply chain services to more than 2,000 client locations throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, with nine offices in seven countries (through wholly owned and strategic partnerships), Nolan & Cunnings employs more than 300 people organized into three primary areas of responsibility: account management, consulting and information technology. Unlike many other logistics consultants, we neither perform work for, nor are affiliated with any asset based carriers. We believe that this policy allows us to protect the best interests of our shipper-receiver customers. We take a personal approach to servicing our clients and we are dedicated to providing them with the highest quality service available. Although the bulk of our clients operate on a thirty-day contract, most of our customers have been with us many years. We know ours is a valuable money-saving service. Clerical savings alone usually more than cover our charges. We believe we provide the most accurate, cost-effective service of our kind in the market today!
