From a certain perspective, the shape of the island of Nantucket, a beautiful haven off the coast of Cape Cod, looks a lot like a duck. And so a map of the island became the inspiration for our appare...l brand, Nanducket. From the very beginning, we imagined Nanducket as something unique — a place where we celebrate our differences and we accept everyone, just as they are. As we built our vision for Nanducket, this message inspired a children’s story — and so it only made sense that we would name our story’s hero — a young duckling — after Nantucket’s famous airport, ACK.
