As NBC Montana, KECI-13 and its sister stations have made an extensive commitment to local and national news, airing over 40 hours of news programming every week. Locally, KECI-13 draws from experienced news professionals in all four of its bureaus, bringing viewers news coverage that is a cut above the rest. KECI-13 is committed to the communities it serves. The GOLD STAR AWARD program is in its twentieth year honoring excellence in education. THE MORE YOU KNOW is a public service campaign that targets parents, teens and the tough issues they face today. Station personnel are also involved in community projects such as the American Cancer Society's RELAY FOR LIFE and the MISSOULA MARATHON. They are proud of their years of outstanding service to the people of western Montana.
