Narodowy Bank Polski

Polish National Bank (National Bank of Poland) is the central bank of the Republic of Polish. The bank performs the tasks specified in the Constitution, the Act on the Polish National Bank and the Banking Act. These laws guarantee the independence of the NBP from other state bodies. Polish National Bank is responsible for the stability of the national currency. Fulfilling this constitutional obligation, NBP develops and implements the monetary policy strategy and - adopted annually - monetary policy guidelines.
