Arts For All, Inc. (AFA) is a dynamic arts education program developed to be affordable for all. We provide quality culturally enriched classes that encourage personal growth. More expansive than any other local organization, AFA offers classes in visual, performing, musical, and communication arts. AFA classes are open to the public at seven locations in a semester format year-round. AFA was founded in 2006 as an absolutely unique organization which operates weekly classes for thousands of students each year in facilities donated by community organizations. Eighty-seven percent of AFA program operations are classes offered to the public. AFA programs are designed to help students overcome barriers faced in accessing quality arts education. Student fees are extremely affordable, roughly 50-80% less than the cost of other arts education entities. AFA offers scholarships and sliding-scale fees and never turns away a student for inability to pay. AFA offers an after school enrichment program to students at Omaha Public Schools. Students at these schools participated in classes such as ballet, art, piano, guitar, drama, photography, and more at absolutely no cost. Also, for six semesters, AFA provided a free early childhood music program and art classes for residents at the Open Door Mission / Lydia House. Remember, we are putting the arts back in hearts.
