NEFCO uses rotary dryers to produce free-flowing granular biosolids from sludge cake. If the client chooses, we can expertly provide the preliminary process of dewatering. We integrate our own proprietary materials handling systems and emission controls with the dryers. Unlike some competing dryer technologies, our product is uniform in size, a critical factor in its efficient use in fertilizer blending systems and application equipment. NEFCO products are sustainably used as fertilizer or fuel. In order to understand the drying process, it's convenient to divide the discussion into two parts, materials handling and air handling and emission controls. Both parts occur simultaneously in a dryer.
