Nelson Machine & Welding
Our goal is to provide you with the utmost service and quality of work. Our team of managers at Nelson Machine & Welding have countless years of experience with a profound knowledge of our business processes and an exceptional commitment to our customers. By doing business with us, we can ensure that your job will be done according to your provisions as well as done accurately and promptly. Our business was founded in 1949, by Warren Nelson under the name of Nelson Repair Service located on the east side of Green Bay. Warren Nelson passed away in 1972 when Gordon Robertson, who was a foreman at the time, ran the business for Warren's wife, Arleen. Gordon then bought the business in 1976. He incorporated in 1981 under the name Nelson Machine & Welding Corporation. He kept the Nelson name because of the association and good reputation. In 1987, our business built a larger facility in the Ashwaubenon Industrial Park totaling 17,000 square feet. The purchase of our first CNC machine lathe was also done at this time. Since then we have made several additions, making our current total square footage 62,000. More than 10x the size of the original building in East Green Bay! We have continued to expand and develop over the years due to our growing customer base and look forward to what the future holds for our business. Copyright @ Nelson Machine & Welding Corp..
